“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away,” (Rev. 21:4).
It is hard to witness our children hurting and suffering, but there is hope. Together, we can address the issues you and your family are facing today. I specialize in assisting individuals from diverse backgrounds to overcome challenges affecting their mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I look forward to supporting you and your family through this process.
I am a licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and National Certified Counselor (NCC), holding a Master of Arts with a specialization in child and youth from Western Seminary. This institution integrates Oregon state requirements and theology to provide a comprehensive perspective on human pain, suffering, and healing. Additionally, I am certified in Child-Parent Psychotherapy, specialize in play therapy, and am soon to be certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am licensed in Oregon and Washington and have extensive experience working with individuals from birth to age 18, though I am also trained to work with adults. With nearly 10 years of experience as a child and family therapist, I am dedicated to supporting individuals through their pain and suffering.
I incorporate spiritual elements upon request by clients while accommodating all beliefs and backgrounds. I utilize evidence-based practices such as Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and I offer parent skills training. Therapeutic interventions for children should encompass the involvement of the family, as issues frequently originate within family systems. My objective is to assist and support the entire family unit.
