You’ve taken the first step to wellness by looking for a therapist. It can be difficult to find just the right match. You’re ready to make a change – I can assist you. My desire is to help you understand core issues that are creating challenges in your life, find ways to cope more satisfactorily, make your desired changes, discover new options and make informed choices. I believe that the fit between client and therapist is important in making changes. I enjoy coming alongside people who have decided it’s time to live life to the fullest and overcome issues holding them back.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. I hold a Master’s of Arts in Counseling – Youth and Child Specialization from Western Seminary. Western’s curriculum incorporates Oregon state requirements along with Bible and Theological studies.
I incorporate spiritual elements when desired by the client, however, that is not for everyone and so I work with people of many spiritual beliefs. I work with youth ages 16+ and adults. I use evidenced-based practices such as CBT, mindfulness and the latest in neuroscience to get the results you desire. I also offer coaching independently or within the therapeutic process.
