In a world that can feel both busy and isolating, working toward a state of psychological health and calm can feel like a big undertaking. My psychotherapy practice aims to create a safe, supportive and courageous space for moving toward that place of health. My therapeutic approach is rooted in attachment theory, psychodynamic theory, and depth psychology. It is also shaped by a history in wilderness leadership, community mental health, and Co-Active coaching.
I specialize in working with:
– People who feel stuck in painful relationships or undesirable patterns of self-criticism.
– People who want to disengage from social media but find it difficult.
– Athletes who face a transition in their sport onset by injury, age, or a change in values.
– Athletes working toward maintaining calm, confidence, and focus while taking on bigger challenges.
– Individuals with ADHD who want to be more effective in the world and their relationships.
– People experiencing anxiety, procrastination, and low self-esteem.
– Individuals who want to create a more mindful life for themselves.
