My Approach
I work with individuals and couples who are seeking to heal trauma, improve communication, and learn from their emotions through connection and body-based (somatic) practices. If you’re feeling anxious, depressed, or isolated and don’t understand how your body’s sensations and emotions can lead you toward greater ease, you are not alone. Our culture often teaches us to ignore our bodies instead of listening to them. I incorporate a somatic approach, which complements my other focus areas, including ecotherapy, attachment, parts work, psychedelic integration, archetypal masculinity/femininity, and couples therapy.
My practice is somatic, attachment-based, and trauma-informed, recognizing that people are part of a complex web encompassing their beliefs, history, culture, family, relationships, and physical environment. By approaching this web holistically, we can identify the areas that need care and support to initiate change.
You don’t have to bear the pain and complexity of being human alone. Life invites us to seek support, intertwine our lives with others and with nature, and be held in a web of relationships. I hope to be part of that support and care. Please reach out if you feel called—I look forward to working with you.
