Deciding to see a therapist or counselor can be intimidating and confusing which is why I strive to approach everyone who contacts me with understanding, respect and gratitude. I take a treat first approach, which means that I aim to have my clients leave their first session with at least one tool that will help them address the main issue that motivated them to seek support.

My practice includes working with children and adults, with an emphasis on adoption, older child adoption, foster families, and children with behavior challenges, as well as parent coaching and consultation.

My trainings and certifications include Neuro-Sequential Model of Therapeutics with the Child Trauma Academy, Motivational Interviewing, Child Parent Psychotherapy, Sandplay Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and post-graduate certificate in Adoptive and Foster Family Therapy through Portland State University.
