As we move through life, we naturally adapt to what we experience. We learn ways to cope, protect ourselves, and keep moving forward. Sometimes those ways of coping are helpful in the moment but become less helpful over time. We may carry past experiences, unresolved emotions, beliefs about ourselves, or patterns in our relationships without fully recognizing how they continue to influence our lives today. Eventually, what we have been carrying can begin to affect how we see ourselves, connect with others, manage stress, and respond to the challenges in front of us.

I believe counseling can provide an opportunity to slow down and become more aware of what we are carrying. It can be a place to make sense of our experiences, understand where our patterns come from, and determine what is still serving us and what may need to change.

My goal is to provide a safe, warm, and honest environment where clients can be authentic, feel heard, and explore their experiences without judgment. I believe that when people feel safe enough to be honest about where they are, they can gain greater understanding of themselves and move toward greater balance and well-being. Counseling is a collaborative process, and I tailor my approach to each client’s needs, goals, and readiness for change.
