You’re doing the best you can, yet you still feel like you’re walking through life on autopilot, just going through the motions. Maybe there’s something recent or from your childhood that you’ve been avoiding & while not wanting to feel that pain now you’re not feeling much of anything, even when you want to. You know what ‘it’ is that needs to be tended to & you finally feel ready, with the right support. Intensive EMDR essentially is having longer sessions for a shorter period of time to get symptom relief faster, so the past doesn’t feel so present.

Let’s get to the root of that hurt you’ve been carrying that is impacting the way you navigate life. EMDR Intensives can be a good fit if there is a specific incident from your childhood or even recently that is impacting your present. Or, if you already have a primary non-EMDR therapist and after doing work around resourcing and generally managing uncomfortable feelings well, you still feel stuck with certain memories, behaviors, or overall themes. You may just want to add an intensive for a specific experience or maybe you are the therapist and would like to collaborate or consult so that you and your client aren’t both feeling stagnant.

In offering EMDR Intensives & adjunct EMDR work, I help clients decrease distress quickly around a difficult experience & move into the present feeling lighter with more agency & choice. By consulting with fellow therapists for certification or ‘as needed’, more people can get the trauma treatment they need.
