Maria has over 20 years of experience working with individuals and families focusing on ages 12 and up in Oregon and many countries in Latin America. She is experienced in helping with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, identity issues and all types of addictions. She has a special affinity for working with teens and young adults. She brings an understanding of chronic illness and end-of-life counseling through her hospice experience. She prefers in person, but is also open to Telehealth. She is an outside-the-box-thinker, and she enjoys incorporating other aspects of therapy, such as art, into sessions.
